1. I do collections internally, so why should I use Kinum?

2. What are the rates for your service?

Our fixed rate averages less than $16 dollars per account for 10 contacts, regardless of the balance or location of the account. Kinum Connect does not charge the usual 25% to 50% commissions typical of traditional collection agencies.

3. How can Kinum charge so little per account?

We feel it’s important to provide our clients with the most cost efficient and effective solution to a frustrating, difficult, and challenging problem facing almost all businesses. Kinum works on a high-volume basis and can extend the savings directly to you. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible solution so you will be a valued customer for a long time.

4. What results can I expect?

Our resolution rates are the highest in the industry! If our clients use our complete system in a timely manner, it’s not unusual to see a 90% + resolution rate across the board. Compare that to the national collection agency recovery rate of 14%, which is published by the American Collectors Association.

5. How does the Kinum system work?

It’s all based on timing, and the fact that 80% of all debt is collected by a notice. Early in the life of an account, we use first party contacts as if they were coming from you. However, for a small fee you have outsourced that process to Kinum in order to save time, money, and efficiency. As the account ages, we introduce third party demand notices which come from us. We will contact your customers demanding payment of a delinquent debt in a firm but  in a kind way. Our system starts early and systematically stays in contact with the debtor until we have resolution.

6. What if I already have a collection agency?

We think that is great! You care about recovering your profits. However, we want to show you a more effective and efficient way of recovering your profits. There is a better way. Many of our clients were using other agencies, but switched to Kinum when they discovered our low rates, credit reporting, and they stay in control. When they compared that to the high commissions they were paying that often produce poor results, it was a no brainer.

7. How do I keep from alienating my customers after turning them over to Kinum?

Kinum has developed a very diplomatic, comprehensive internal approach that involves first-party (you) and third-party (us) contacts designed to recover your money without alienating your customers. Best of all, you are in control of the process at all times, deciding which customers to contact and when. Furthermore, all money collected goes directly to you regardless of the balance.

8. What types of accounts does Kinum handle?

Kinum collects all types of slow-paying or delinquent accounts from a diverse group of service and retail businesses as well as medical and dental practices.We service over 140 different industries.

9. How do I pay for the service?

The great thing about our service is you can pay as you go. We will sign a service agreement and bill you on a monthly basis per the number of accounts you send through our system. Our customers pay their Kinum fees via ACH check or credit card. We even have special discount pricing for associations.
